Hello,
I’m Cantekin. An Istanbul-based Copywriter and Creative Group Head.
In 2013, I joined TBWA\Istanbul as a copywriter. Throughout the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with esteemed brands such as Turkish Airlines, McDonald’s, IKEA, BMW, Nissan, Kinder, Akbank, and many more.
I was promoted to the position of Creative Group Head in 2021, and proudly served in that role for 2 years. Throughout my career, my works were deemed worthy of over 70 awards, both local and global, in many prestigious creativity festivals, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Eurobest, Effie Awards, Golden Drum, Clio Awards and One Show.
I consider myself kinda cinephile, and I like reading comic books, cooking, playing the baglama, and traveling. My biggest dream is to embark on a world tour and successfully complete my "trying exotic flavours challenge" without accidentally getting food poisoning and, you know, departing this world prematurely.
